Even when the thunder and storm begins I'll be standing strong like a tree in the wind Nothing 's gonna move this mountain or change my direction I'm falling off the sky and I'm all alone The curse that's inside is gonna break my fall Nothing 's gonna dim my light within
But if I keep going on It will never be impossible, not to date yes, I 've got something to believe in as long as I'm breathing There is not a limit to what I can dream yes, I've got something to believe in Mission to keep climbing Nothing else can stop me if I just believe and I believe in me
Even when the world tries to pull me down Tell me that I can't try to turn me around I will let a put my fire out without know
But if I keep going on It will never be impossible, not to date yes, I 've got something to believe in as long as I'm breathing There is not a limit to what I can dream yes, I've got something to believe in Mission to keep climbing Nothing else can stop me if I just believe and I believe
I can do it all Open every door Turn unthinkable to reality, you'll see
I can do it all if I'm believing as long as I'm breathing There is not a limit to what I can dream Believing, mission to keep climbing Nothing else can stop me if I just believe and I believe in me
This video clip was televised by the russianmedia, a few days after the termination of ESC 2008. The reportage refers to an incident that took place in December 2007, when a little boy, Artem, asked the media of his country to help him find some money for the treatment of the disease he was suffering from. Dima Bilan heard about this and he immediately decided to pay the total amount for the boy's therapy. This story rings a bell, doesn't it? Of course, it's the TV version of "Believe"... The song "Believe" was written two months after the incident with little Artem. The concept of the video clip was exclusively inspired by Dima who, apart from wanting to convey the message of the song's lyrics, also wanted to express his hope that Artem could really live through this terrible adventure... Unfortunately, the child died after a while... Dima asked anybody who knew about this case not to say a word, so that nothing might be revealed. Respectful as he is to human pain, Dima never took advantage of the incident, in order to gain more votes and publicity. In the contrary, he remained silent and dedicated his victory to the memory of the poor boy... That candle he was holding at the night of the Eurovision final, was for little Artem... After the Eurovision had finished, the child's mother herself chose to thank Dima in public.(She appears in the video clip, holding a photo album with pictures of Artem together with Dima in it.)
